Civil Chaplaincies

Civil Chaplaincies provide spiritual care in Civil Institutions such as Hospitals, Health Services and Corrective services.

Civil Chaplains

Civil chaplains take their place alongside but are differentiated from Military and Police Chaplains.

Mission

The mission of Civil Chaplains and Pastoral Care workers is to support the spiritual and emotional well being of those who provide civil services and those who receive from civil services.

In support of this mission the Civil Chaplaincies Advisory Committee helps coordinate chaplaincies in
