Career Exploration: Each person needs to research person in the area of housing (Trades, Engineering, Realtor, Architect, General Contractor, Interior Design, etc) that exists either locally, in MN, or somewhere in the country. You need to find out how you will contact them (Twitter, Facebook, Phone, Email, etc) and you are going to interview them. You need to come up with 10 authentic questions to ask about their business, ie What makes them successful and why, how much volume do they do, what's the pros, cons, biggest issues, etc. You are going to then find a time to interview them. Please record the interview (use your phone, ipad, someone else's phone, etc) or screenshot answers that are done via Social Media, Email, etc. Please email me the video or pictures of the interview to ryan.radke@byron.k12.mn.us
-Week 6: Due by May 8th: Starting Your House Design: House Design: You will start to design your house. Using the App or Program you like the best, design 2 Levels/Stories of a house. Each week you will have certain things to do on the house from the basic home design to furnishing your house. You will upload BOTH the 2D (Floor Plan Mode) and the 3D Pictures of the house and various rooms onto your Portfolio. You can either screen shot the pics or save the pics to your computer. Your house should contain everything that goes into a house; Windows, Doors, Cabinets, Showers, Toilets, Outlets (Electrical/TV/Phone), Appliances, Flooring, Paint, Sinks, Steps/Stairs, Utility Room and Utilities, Attached 2-3 Car Garage, Furniture, Decks/Patios, Landscaping, etc.
