Subject — Class of 1995 Helping Current Brown Students in Need
Dear Class of 1995,
In these uncertain times, supporting one another and staying healthy and safe are what matter most. We are thinking of you all during this crisis and extend our deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones.
Many of you have asked how you can help Brown students, especially those who cannot go home and those for which remote learning causes additional challenges. As a class, we would like to focus on helping these students: let’s strive for 100% participation in support of Brown students in need.
Please consider giving to Brown’s newly launched Student Emergency Support Fund to help students transition to remote learning, purchase laptops and technology, and address other unexpected expenses, including food and medicine, for the remainder of the semester. Every dollar raised will be used to provide emergency support for students to overcome these challenging circumstances. If you’d like to help please consider making an online gift. Contributions of any size are welcome and beyond appreciated.
In addition, we’d love to hear from you. How are you helping those in need right now? Do you have any stories you would like us to share on our Class of 1995 social media presence? Please feel free to reach out to us at classof1995@alumni.brown.edu.
We are so sad that we won't be able to celebrate our 25th Reunion on campus in May, but know that when we are able to, it will be a truly special celebration. The Student Emergency Support Fund is a part of the Brown Annual Fund: therefore, all gifts will also be included in our 25th Reunion Class Gift and Participation.
Please stay safe.
Ever true,
Your ’95 Class Leaders and 25th Reunion Co-Chairs
