Art Integration

  • This is an example of an art integration cooperative activity for students that included cardio, teamwork, and creativity.
  • Students loved this activity, got a ton of exercise, and created unbelievable pieces of art! My P.E. Picassos!
  • As an extension of this activity, I shared the idea with teachers to be able to use as a modified classroom activity or indoor recess option.
  • It was super satisfying to hear from students that some had tried the activity at home with siblings and friends!
  • In this activity, students take turns running to add on to their partner drawing. The music is paused to change marker colors. During cool-down, pairs can finalize their masterpiece!
