On March 10th, Boise High took the court for the first match of the season.  Their were fresh faces, a few nerves, and some fantastic tennis as Boise High dominated Bishop Kelly 10-2.  Sophia Mullin was named the player of the match as she led the Brave with a big win at #2 doubles with Caroline Turcke.  The Brave had were led by returners and new faces alike.

The boys swept all the matches with JJ Byrne, Nick Gabelman, and Luke Gnadinger playing awesome singles matches.  In doubles Luke Neely paired up with Eddie Ormseth for an awesome win, while Hunter Sorenson and Liam Gibson came back for a 3rd set win!

On the girls side Ella Piron won her first match for the Brave at #2 singles, and Katie Turcke continued the winning at #3 singles.  Anna Matthews and Tessa Staley  got some great work in with a win at #1 girls doubles.  Sasha Marsh fought valiantly at #1 singles in a tight 3 set loss.  The future is bright for our girls team.

In mixed doubles Avery Samer and Kent Knothe played a great match at the #1 position.  They were dominant at the net, and played great team tennis.  Halle Dingel and Erik Vettergren played hard in loss at the #2 position.  Both played some fantastic points, but it just wasn't their night.

The Brave next take the court against Fruitland next Tuesday back at Fort Boise.
