Corporal William R. Craig

Corporal William R. Craig served in the United States Marine Crops during the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1967.  He was a team leader for a machine gun unit and worked his way up to a squad leader.  After returning home to Buffalo Island, he met his wife, Linda.  They have been married for 50 years and have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.  He worked for 20 years for GTE, General Telephone and Electronics Corporation.  After that, he farmed for 5 years before retiring.
