Middle School

Counseling

Welcome to the North Bay Haven Middle School Counseling page!  School Counseling is a developmental process in which the counselor provides individuals or groups with guidance and encouragement, as well as challenge and inspiration in creatively managing and resolving practical, personal, and relationship issues in order to help students achieve goals.  School counselors focus on three main domains:  Academic, Career/College, and Social-Emotional.

At NBH Middle School, we strive to follow the ASCA National Model and Florida Standards for Counselors.  This methodology allows us to reach as many students as we can with a comprehensive,  data-driven program that helps students in all three domains.  In essence, if there is something getting in the way of a student being successful, we provide tools and guidance to help remove those barriers, whatever they may be.

Feel free to peruse the links below for helpful tips and resources for navigating middle school and beyond.  If there is anything that you would like to see on this page, please let us know!
