Teacher Checklist

IAR is more complicated than tests we have administered in the past. It is important that teachers to familiarize themselves with this new genre of testing. The following checklist has been created to provide you with the minimum of what needs to be done for IAR to be successful.

Checklist for Teachers

1.       Go through the practice tests with your students (learn how to use the tools)

• • Practice Tests (All principals, teachers and students who participate in IAR testing should go through this)

2.      Introduce IAR to students

• • a.  Require students to go through the IAR practice tests

3.       Attend LTA training on how to run the IAR  Training Presentation Link

• Practice Logging in  https://il.pearsonaccessnext.com/customer/index.action

• Become familiar with terms (session, unit, user name, password, seal code, flag items )

• Start a test, resume a student, review items, submit a test, log out of IAR
