The 5Essentials Report provides a comprehensive picture of the school environment based on five essential areas critical for school improvement in a meaningful context of similar and successful schools.
2022-23 5E survey window:
The 2023-24 administration of the survey is opening on January 23, 2023, and closing on March 29, 2023 .

The survey is required by ISBE and is based upon research conducted by the University of Chicago Consortium on School Research in Chicago Public Schools.
