IAR is more complicated than tests we have administered in the past. It is important that principals familiarize themselves with this new genre of testing. The following checklist has been created to provide you with the minimum of what needs to be done for IAR to be successful.

PLEASE make sure that you review with staff:
Review IAR/PARCC presentation with staff (Full presentation -Principal and LTA)
understand secure documents protocol
understand what "Proctoring a test" means
Checklist for Principals
1. Go through the IAR/PARCC tutorial. Encourage staff to view it as well.
2. Provide Time to LTAs to train staff how to run IAR.
3. Make a testing schedule (indicating in general when IAR testing will occur)
Make sure to identify who your proctors will be. Keep in mind, only certified staff may be test proctors
Select an IAR point person through whom communications will flow.
You can use the format displayed in IAR logistics or another format if you prefer
4. Review Personal Needs Profiles

5. Everyone administering the IAR test needs to sign the Security Agreement. This needs to be kept for 3 years.
