Dear Madam,

I am writing to with regard to my current membership status with your club- a membership I'd like to cancel.

I currently possess a Social Member status with the club, giving me access to full social, dining, tennis, swimming and recreational facilities. This membership has been paid for using my own salary, and no one can dispute that it has, indeed, been a good investment. Though this particular membership does not include golf course or practice facility access, I have been immensely pleased with the privileges provided thus far. This club has become my happy place; a place to go to when I'm in need of some much-needed exercise or relaxation. Ever Since joining your club, I've begun to socialize more than I used to, changing my anti-social ways. My health and fitness have seen quite a bit of an improvement due to the various activities offered, of which tennis has been my favourite.

That being said, I regret to inform you that I will be needing to cancel this membership due to the fact that I will be needing all the money I can get for my studies, as I've stopped working in order to further my studies. I've moved on from part-time to full-time studies in order to accomplish my aims at a more efficient and faster pace. Naturally, I will now lack both the funds and the time to keep up regular appearances at the club from now on, so cancellation of my membership is an inevitable order of business.

It has been a pleasure doing business with you.

Kind regards,

Merlin Lancelot.
