Physics Assessments

PHYS 2425 & 2426

Information from Gabriel Arellano:

This Fall PHYS 2425 and PHYS 2426 are tasked with running three assessments. Two of the assessments focus on two of our four general competencies and another one focuses on as many of the four general competencies as possible.  (NOTE: The four general competencies relevant to our department are Communication Skills, Critical Thinking Skills, Empirical & Quantitative Skills, and Teamwork)

The two assessments that focus on only two of the four are the Visual Communication Assessment and the Teamwork Assessment, while the other is the Faculty Collaborative.

All faculty are required to run the Faculty Collaborative. Since the faculty collaborative focuses on assessing all four general education competencies relevant to our department, a lab report or an essay is a good assignment to tag for the Faculty Collaborative.  You are only required to tag one assignment, but feel free to tag more if you want.
