Submit/Update Your Bio and Photo

Lead instructor and co-instructor bios are posted in all online courses to provide students information about the educational and professional background as well as contact information of the instructional team.

Please submit your bio and photo to Ana Ruiz (Ana.Ruiz@asu.edu) or Cody Veliz Cody.Veliz@asu.edu). The bio should contain the following information:

  • Bio: Please provide a brief bio of approximately 4-7 sentences that includes information about your background and relevant experience and how it relates to the field of education (more specifically, the Teachers College program in which you are facilitating) in third person. Please format dates using "since ####." For example, "Mary Beth has taught online since 2007" instead of "Mary Beth has taught online for 9 years." Bios will be reviewed and edited for consistency by the online learning team.

  • Photo: Please provide an individual photo of yourself that portrays your professional image. The photo should include the head and shoulders and be a full-resolution image. We can crop and resize if necessary.

Additional Information:

  • Update Info: If you have taught with us before, please review your bio posted in the course every time you teach to ensure that the information is up to date. If updates are necessary, forward your changes to your instructional design team as well as Ana Ruiz (Ana.Ruiz@asu.edu) or Cody Veliz Cody.Veliz@asu.edu).
