What are values?
Values are your beliefs about what is important or desirable.
When your values line up with how you live and work, you tend to feel more satisfied and confident.
Living or working in ways that contradict your values can lead to dissatisfaction, confusion, and discouragement.
Being college and career ready means thinking about what you want to go to school for – what career or occupation best suits you.
For today’s assignment, you will:
Share what you know about values on slide 3.
Complete a Values at Work assessment. (use link in Schoology/on slide 5 )
Complete the Value Matcher Reflection on slide 7.

I. WICOR Ads (6 slides)
https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1NZnWndaFpV3jMTG63STLkWYCTplBdKSMDBPyba6p360/edit#slide=id.p
WICOR is an acronym for Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading and provides a learning model that educators can use to guide students in comprehending concepts and articulating ideas at increasingly complex levels.
To finish off this course you need a final. Did you notice there were no quizzes or tests? This is your final.
With a group of 5 or 6 you will be creating WICOR commercials. You must tell your audience what WICOR is, what the benefits are to using it, and why it is important. You will have 4 days to write, create and film. Friday we will be watching these. Make sure you share them with your teacher!
Be creative, enjoy and good luck! One more thing, since this is a final EVERYONE MUST participate in some way. I will be listening and watching!
