VPN Access

VPN (Virtual Private Network) access allows employees to connect to Colleague, Raiser's Edge, and files shared on a variety of campus based servers with a University issued device. It is particularly useful for remote workers and those that spend a lot of time away from campus. VPN access is enabled through Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client software.

All University issued devices come with AnyConnect VPN Client software preinstalled.  If you ever have an issue with your VPN software, or need to reinstall it, submit a help desk ticket at https://helpdesk.antioch.edu or for live phone support call 1-866-662-0056 (24 hours / 7 days a week.  International callers, please dial 1-937-769-1226.

VPN FAQs

What can I access over the VPN?

1. Access to the Colleague system

2. Access to the Raiser’s Edge system

3. Access to file shares

NOTE:  When accessing fileservers over a VPN connection, physical distance between the VPN connection and the server becomes a factor in the overall experience.

Can I use my home PC/MAC/iPad to connect to the VPN?

We request that you only connect to the VPN with a University issued device, in order to ensure that connecting systems are properly scanned for viruses and other threats.

Is there a time limit on the VPN connection (can I connect and leave the connection up?)

There is no time limit but for security, disconnect when you have finished your work.
