Tardies and Bathroom Visits
- A student is considered tardy when not present in the classroom at the time that the bell signals the start of class.
- All tardies are recorded so as to be fair and consistent with all students.
- It is inappropriate for a student to use a bathroom or water fountain visit to extend the time of a passing period, even if that student leaves a bag in class.
- It is appropriate and courteous for a student to plan to use the bathroom before class so as to be present during the entire class.
