Cite/reference the work of others and clearly distinguish between your work and the source being used.
Paraphrase, summarize and quote.
Credit all sources, even if you have summarized or paraphrased.
You must cite all your sources and materials that are not your own, including images, maps, tables, charts, song lyrics, movies, codes, etc.
Manage your time and plan your work - make sure you have enough time to research, read and write.
Keep clear records and notes of all your sources - it can be very difficult to locate your sources later.

Duplication of same work for different assessments or in order to meet different requirements.
Cheating on an exam.
Fabricating or falsifying data - for example, lying on your CAS record, or making up statistics for a science Extended Essay (Lekanides, 139).
