Peter Costantino is an esteemed alumni of ACIT, computer scientist, outdoorsman, and tradesman. Peter graduated from Rowan University cum laude with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Science in May 2021, and soon after found an open teaching position at his old vocational school. Peter has found a passion for education coupled with a strong interest in computing technology, and is dedicated to one of the top-performing CS education programs in the state.

During College, Peter found himself at home in the radio booth of 89.7 WGLS-FM Rowan Radio, a multi-award winning college radio broadcast stationed out of Glassboro. Spinning tracks as a DJ and reporting for both Business & Technology segments in The Rowan Report, Peter is also a 1st place medalist for the BEA National Media Arts award for Radio Production, and as a member of a State News Broadcast. Peter takes pride in his natural speaking voice, and is a freelance voiceover. He is no stranger to industry audio production software, and does the audio editing for several ACIT stage productions.

Peter is a staunch advocate for being a jack-of-all-trades, and never backs down from physical tasks. The son of a tradesman, Peter has worked hammer in hand as an apprentice carpenter, and enjoys the simple act of construction as much as programming; erecting bank branches, retrofitting a dermatology office, and wading through several bathroom renovations in the summer before becoming a teacher. Currently Peter spends his summers as part of the ACIT maintenance team, completing technical projects on campus grounds and preparing ACIT's buildings for September.

In his first year as a teacher, Peter was approached to take over the Mr. Redhawk program from Victoria Ragone and the late Beth Petuskey. Being part of the shows as a host in his high school career, Peter agreed to take up the responsibility in honor of his old mentors. He brought forth a renewal of Mr. Redhawk in the 2021-2022 school year, and saw the 10th anniversary of Mr. Redhawk during 2022-2023. During the same year, Peter also became one of a three-member Stage Director crew with longtime Director Matthew Allen, and fellow new instructor William Morey. With adaptable Computer Science knowledge, experience in construction, and a knack for public relations, Peter enjoys every second being part of the production crew for ACIT Performing Arts.
