Statewide Assessment
Smarter Balanced Test - Students will take this test during the second semester of the 11th Grade. It is usually scheduled in February for Seniors who have yet to meet essential skills and in May for Juniors.
Other Assessments
There are a variety of options for students at Pacific High School:
PSAT - Score 24.5 or higher in math (Offered during 10th Grade)
ACT - Score 19 or higher in math (Students must schedule and pay for test)
SAT - Score 24.5 or higher in math (Students must schedule and pay for test)
Other options for this category can be found here.
Work Samples
Work Samples are locally developed, administered, and scored and, thus, can are embedded into the math program at Pacific High School. Students will be provided the opportunity to take two or three work samples each year of math. Students must score a 4 or high in each process dimension on at least one work sample from two of the following strands: Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics.
The work sample scoring guide can be found in the below Oregon Department of Education Resources.
