Weighted Grades
The grade breakdowns for each Middle/High School Grade is listed below. College grade weights are listed in the applicable college syllabus.

Some projects will be weighted as a test and others weighted as "homework/classwork."
Homework/Classwork will be two separate categories for the Introduction to Data Science Class.
Middle School and High School math homework will be graded on completion amount and level of effort. College math homework will be graded on accuracy.
Though homework/classwork does not have a significant weight towards your final grade, it is necessary to complete in order to obtain the skills required to pass the quizzes, tests, and semester final.
Grading
Most students new to high school have the misconception that their grades reflect just the percentage of problems that they get correct. However, this is only a single component to what grades actually reflect on a high school transcript. As such, the meaning of each letter grade in the regular high school math classes is as follows:
All Middle School and High School work will be evaluated on a scale of 1 to 5 and weighted as noted below.
● College Math classes will receive letter grades with a traditional 10% between each grade level. Middle School and High School Students will receive letter grades based on their weighted average score as noted below. Please note that report cards and transcripts will not reflect (+)'s or (-)'s, only the relevant letter grade.
