On May 7 there will be no regular training - instead Cadets are to attend the Year-end Band concert to support the music programs, featuring featuring Pipes & Drums, Brass & Reed, Highland Dancers and more!

🎁 All Cadets are encouraged to bring a monetary or non‑perishable food donation in support of the Barrhaven Food Cupboard.
Glider/Power Familiarization - May 9th - 7 spots available!
Open to any cadet who has not had a glider flight since Spring 2024. Transportation will be provided. Note that cadets will be outside for the duration of the day. It can be cold and windy at the airport, so a warm jacket is required! Cadets must also bring a packed lunch, filled water bottle, and snacks as there is nowhere to purchase a lunch onsite. Cadets will have a flight in either a glider or a powered aircraft!
Year End Trip - May 15-18
Payment details ($100 per cadet) has been sent to 100 cadets; payment is due May 10th. Should a spot become available, waitlisted cadets will be sent payment details. Any registrations after May 3 will be placed on the waitlist.
Timings: 1500 Friday, May 15th to 1500 Monday, May 18th.
Highlights: Aquarium, Citadelle, Old Quebec, Galeries de la Capital, CFB Valcartier
This is mandatory for all cadets. On Sunday 31 May 2025, we will be holding our 63rd ACR! Practice will be held on Saturday 30 May. More info on the calendar.
ACR Practice on Saturday, May 30 from 0900-1600 hrs. Dress: appropriate civilian attire (squadron t-shirt encouraged). Cadets must bring a water bottle & snacks. BBQ lunch will be provided - cadets must eat breakfast at home.

The ACR on Sunday, May 31 from 0900-1600 hrs is MANDATORY for ALL cadets & is required as part of their training. Cadets must bring a lunch, water bottle & snacks - cadets must eat breakfast at home.

Following the parade, there will be a reception with light refreshments (we need your support - see below). Parents/spectators are to arrive for 1245 hrs to be seated for a 1300 hrs start.
What's ACR? It's the most important event of the Air Cadet training year. Cadets get to show guests, family and their community what they have learned over the past training year and are recognized for their achievements! There are awards, guest speeches, music, and many more live and static displays!
Offers of participation have all been sent. Virtual courses have been sent on May 5.
Congratulations to all selected cadets! Remaining cadets are placed on a wait list and will be contacted should something become available.
75 Barrhaven Squadron has invited Ottawa Zone cadets, families, and friends to attend Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) Appreciation Night with the Ottawa REDBLACKS at TD Place Stadium. Cadets may participate in pre‑game activities, including team warm‑ups and opening ceremonies. Cadets must attend with a parent/guardian. Tickets will be made available for pickup onsite.
