Community Visibility Day on Saturday, Apr 11, is one of the most important days for ALL cadets. Cadets will represent the Air Cadet Program/742 Squadron by interacting with community members about the opportunities Air Cadets provides, accept donations that help run activities like ACR, mess dinner, year-end trip. More details on the Calendar.
Cadets can sign up for one or both shifts (0900-1230hrs or 1230-1600hrs). Participation counts towards your level proficiency and volunteer hours for school!
Seniors may sign up for any spot available.
Who: Open to Level 3 and Level 4 cadets only. Senior cadets (Level 4 qualified and above) are to inform WO2 Sakamoto no later than Mar 26 if they are attending.
What: A Field Training Exercise (FTX) is a multi-day outdoor training activity where cadets practice skills like navigation, first aid, radio communication, and teamwork in a field environment. Cadets get to camp outdoors, take part in realistic scenarios, and work together on exciting challenges. FTXs are also part of completing your level proficiency training. This FTX will be a combined exercise with two other local squadrons (211 and 75) held at so it’s a great opportunity to meet other cadets and expand networks while training and having fun. Where: Connaught Ranges and Primary Training Centre - transportation provided
Dress: FTU + All items in the kit list (list to be provided to participants)
You may still apply after March 3, but your application will be considered late, and course availability will be limited.

National Post-Secondary Education Scholarships
Available to current and recently aged-out Air Cadets who are entering or continuing post-secondary education at an accredited institution. The deadline to submit applications is April 1, 2026.
Junior Ground School takes place on Wednesdays as indicated on the calendar from 1845-2045hrs. Open to all cadets - no prerequisites.
Please note that the UMCC closes promptly at 2100hrs, and cadets will have to wait outside if parents are late for pickup.

Senior Ground School has ended for this year. Congratulations to all 16 cadets who wrote the entrance exam. Marks will be communicated by late February, with interviews taking place on March 21. We will see those cadets interested in GPTC or PPTC for summer 2027 for ground school in the fall.
All enrolled cadets are issued a Cadet365 account. This provides access to your cadet email (Outlook) and MS Teams (essential for virtual training), along with various online resources and training. Please follow the onboarding instructions (under Resources) in order to access your cadet email and MS Teams.
