History

The Five District Partnership (5DP) was founded in 2012 after research showed a high rate of student mobility (churn) within the districts of Chelsea, Everett, Malden*, Revere and Winthrop. The 5DP concluded its formal partnership in June 2025.  Throughout, the 5DP prioritized educational efforts between partner districts focused on professional learning and educator networks to improve instruction, academic achievement, and student outcomes.
