Teams
Power in Partnership
Essential to the work of the 5DP are the advisory and working groups that facilitate ongoing collaboration, communication, and idea generation across partner districts. Groups meet regularly with representatives from each partner district and define priorities and projects aligned with shared district goals and in service of achieving our shared mission and vision.
In addition to the cornerstone teams noted here, leadership and curriculum groups are developed and meet regularly. Those groups include longstanding teams such as the leaders in Special Education, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Multi-language Learner education, College and Career education, Principals and Assistant Principals, and Human Resources as well as ad hoc teams for emergent shared projects and curriculum work.
Leadership Team
The Leadership Team is comprised of district leaders (Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents) in each partner district. This group supervises and directs the strategic priorities and activities of the 5DP to ensure alignment with the ongoing work in each individual district and collaboration around key priorities.
Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is comprised of leaders in curriculum and instruction in each partner district. This team focuses on instructional resources, methods, and support of educator classroom practice that promotes equitable outcomes for all learners. This team determines the focus of ongoing targeted curriculum and assessment projects among member districts and facilitates educator involvement and feedback on this work.
Teacher Advisory Board (TAB)
The 5DP Teacher Advisory Board (TAB) is comprised of educators from across partner districts who represent the needs and perspectives of their colleagues and advise the 5DP in setting priorities for both ongoing relationship building and ongoing learning among partner district educators. TAB meets monthly. If you are interested in getting involved, please reach out through the contact page or by email!
