The Four Rs

This is one of my neatest works! It describes the four Rs in Spanish and their importance. Creating this mind map helped me improve my summarising and organisational skills, as I learned to present key information in a visually clear and structured way. I also strengthened my Spanish vocabulary and comprehension, while developing creative thinking by using layout, keywords, and connections effectively. Overall, this activity enhanced my ability to combine language learning with environmental awareness in an engaging and meaningful format.

Country Introductions

I worked in a team to create two PowerPoint presentations introducing the countries Argentina and Mexico in Spanish. This activity helped me improve my collaboration and communication skills, as we planned content and shared responsibilities effectively. I also developed my Spanish speaking and writing skills by using correct vocabulary and sentence structures to describe culture, location, and key facts. Additionally, creating the presentations strengthened my research, organisation, and digital presentation skills, while teaching me the importance of teamwork in producing clear and engaging academic work.

About My Teacher

Ms Aarti Kandari is a serious Spanish teacher who teaches us the language very nicely. Learning a new language is extremely difficult, but Aarti Ma'am makes sure that we understand everything clearly. She taught us in Grade 7 too... one day, only Aarti Ma'am and I were alone in the class, since no one joined (our badge is very small). I was nervous, but we learnt everything nicely anyway, and it went great!
