Welcome to my portfolio! Here is a music production I made to keep you entertained.
In my Hindi class, I studied the inspiring poem “नर हो, न निराश करो मन को” by the national poet Maithilisharan Gupta. This chapter carried a powerful message about courage, optimism, and purposeful action in life. Through this lesson, I not only understood the deeper meaning of the poem but also developed several important academic and life skills. The grammar section helped me revise and practise sentence formation, correct usage of words, and grammatical accuracy. I also improved my writing skills by structuring answers logically and expressing thoughts more effectively. Additionally, discussing the moral values of the poem helped develop my ethical understanding and reflective thinking.
In my Hindi class, I studied the chapter “बातूनी”, which is a humorous and thought-provoking story centred around human behaviour and communication. The story revolves around a man who kindly delivers a mail to another man riding a bicycle. This small act of help is misunderstood, as the man assumes that the first man is his close friend. Academically, this chapter included comprehension-based questions, character analysis, and grammar exercises, which helped strengthen my Hindi language skills. I improved my reading and listening comprehension by following the sequence of events and identifying the underlying message behind the humour. Answering analytical questions enhanced my interpretation and reasoning skills, as I learned to explain character behaviour and its impact.
In my Hindi class, I studied the chapter “शापमुक्ति”, which is an emotional and morally powerful story about guilt, forgiveness, and redemption. The story focuses on two boys who were close friends during their childhood. However, their friendship breaks when one boy commits a cruel and thoughtless act by putting a poisonous gel into a puppy’s eyes as an experiment. This incident deeply affects the other boy, who is unable to forgive him. As time passes, both boys grow up and follow different paths in life. Years later, the second boy becomes an eye doctor, dedicating his life to restoring people’s eyesight. Unaware of this connection, the first boy visits a hospital with his grandmother for treatment. When the grandmother recognises the doctor, she becomes extremely distressed due to the painful memories associated with his past actions. At this moment, the doctor explains how deeply he regrets his childhood mistake. He expresses genuine remorse and shares that he has tried to atone for his wrongdoing by helping countless people regain their vision. Through his selfless work, he seeks forgiveness.
From a learning perspective, this chapter included comprehension questions, character-based analysis, moral reasoning, and grammar exercises. I enhanced my analytical and interpretative skills by understanding character emotions and motivations. The grammar exercises strengthened my sentence construction, vocabulary usage, and accuracy in written Hindi. Writing detailed answers helped me improve my structured writing and clarity of expression.
In my Hindi class, I studied the chapter “मैं और मेरा कंप्यूटर”, which is an imaginative and informative lesson that blends storytelling with technology. The chapter revolves around a young girl who receives a computer as a gift from her father. This moment marks the beginning of her journey into the world of digital learning. In the story, the computer comes to life and starts telling the girl its history.
Academically, this chapter included reading comprehension, factual questions, imaginative responses, and grammar exercises. I improved my informational reading skills by identifying key details related to the history and functions of computers. Writing answers helped strengthen my explanatory and descriptive writing skills, as I learned to present technical information clearly in words.
Our Hindi teacher is Anju Ma'am. She's very interactive and knows each of her students personally. Sometimes, she even pairs us up randomly, without warning, to make us more comfortable with each other. I remember that she paired me up with Tiya once, and we both had to enact a scene from a video she showed. It was so fun, and we both couldn't stop laughing! In short, Anju Ma'am is just superb.
