LISD Backpack Program
Since food and nutrition are so closely linked with the ability to learn, we want to make sure students have food over the weekend so they are ready to learn when they arrive at school on Monday. For this reason, the Leander ISD Backpack Program was created. This program provides participating students with a small bag of food each Friday afternoon. Students discreetly pick up the bag in the office on their way home. There is no cost for the participant’s family for the food.
If you are interested in your child participating in this program, please complete this form and return to the front office.
If you have any questions about this program , please contact the school counselor, Tracy Mercer, at (512) 570-7616 or tracy.mercer@leanderisd.org.
