Monday: Welcome/Bienvenido Mind Yeti

Discussion/Reflection

“Hubbubble” is what Mind Yeti calls our “thoughts,” “feelings” and “sensations.”

Our thoughts help us figure things out, our feelings change our mood, and sensations are our body’s way of telling us things like we are hungry or feeling a certain way.

Sometimes all of this gets to be a lot. Mind Yeti calls that the “Hubbub.”

Activity (Kindergarten- Grade 2)

Time: 15-20 minutes
Hubbubble Drawing

Think about your day, then draw a few large Hubbubbles to represent the different thoughts, feelings, and sensations you’ve had. Then write what the thought, feeling, or sensation was inside each Hubbubble. You can also choose a color to represent each Hubbubble category.

Activity (Grades 3-5)

Time: 10-15 minutes
Hubbubble Journal

Reflect on and then briefly write about Hubbubbles you’ve had today or in the last few days. Identify whether the Hubbubble was a thought, feeling, or sensation. If the Hubbubble got in the way of you thinking clearly, write about that too.
