T. Nicole Kirk

T. Nicole Kirk, PhD, received her PhD in Health & Sport Pedagogy at Old Dominion University in 2019. Her research interests are motivational beliefs of individuals with visual impairments toward physical activity and sport. She is particularly interested in the relationship between physical activity and disability-related identities, perceived value of physical activity, and physical activity engagement. After completing her degree at ODU, Dr. Kirk went on to complete a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Georgia. 

Katie Holland

Katie Holland received her PhD in Health and Sport Pedagogy at Old Dominion University in 2021. Her research interests center around the experiences of youth with disabilities in physical education. She is particularly interested in experiences that are associated with feelings of inclusion. After completing her degree at ODU, Dr. Holland moved to Norway with her family and is currently an associate professor of physical education and sport in the Department of Teacher Education at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology. 

Steven K. Holland

Steven K. Holland received his PhD in Health and Sport Pedagogy at Old Dominion University in 2021. His research interests span from adapted physical education teacher socialization to the physical education experiences of disabled students. After completing his PhD, Dr. Holland accepted a position as an Associate Professor of physical education at NTNU—Norwegian University of Science Technology in the Department of Teacher Education in Trondheim, Norway. (Dr. Holland ble førsteamanuensis I kroppsøving ved NTNU—Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet i institutt for lærerutdanning i Trondheim, Norge.)
