College of Lake County is now an AIRA enabled site!

AIRA is an app that is placed on your smartphone and, when activated, contacts a trained representative 24/7 to assist those who are blind or have low vision with navigation. The representative can activate the camera on the phone and find familiar people, such as a boss or family member, locate classrooms, read a menu, or audio describe a student event. This service is free to all students, staff, faculty, and community members on our CLC campuses, and will allow us to increase accessibility and take a huge leap in creating a welcoming environment for our blind population
