May / June 2022

Welcome to our final Parent Council Newsletter of 2022!!

We are nearing the end of 2021/22 session and the Parent Council are finally pleased to announce that ......

WE ARE PLANNING TO HOLD A SHORTS AND SHADES DISCO IN JUNE 2022!! 🎉🤸‍♀️

We are aware that for many of our P1-P3 children this is their first school disco and we are excited to welcome them!! As usual, we will have a raffle, tuckshop, drinks and hopefully hotdogs on sale. The details are yet to be finalised with the school but we will keep you all updated. As always, to hold the disco we require as many parents as possible to help supervise in the hall, sell sweets, etc., if you would like to help then please complete the attached electronic form and we will be in touch.

We would like to say a HUGE THANKS to everyone for their support of the Easter Hamper, where we made £171 to support the school. If you have any ideas of how we can spend the money we have raised then please get in touch at bankheadparentcouncilgcc@gmail.com.

As announced in the School May Newsletter the school will be holding face to face parent meetings on Thursday 9th June for you to find out how your children are progressing in their learning. The school is trialing an online booking system so please don't forget to book your slot when the email arrives!

Although it is a little early, the Parent Council would like to wish the P7s all the best in their move to secondary school!
