Respect me are launching a Youth Action Group for young people aged 11-18 in the search for anti-bullying ambassadors.

The search is on for a group of young people to join respectme to help inform our next big national anti-bullying campaign, launching in time for Anti-Bullying Week 2022.

The new Youth Action Group will bring together a team of like-minded young people aged 11-18 from across the country who will help shape the development of a new anti-bullying campaign which will run for the next two years.

The group will discuss the main issues facing young people in relation to bullying right now, and co-design a national campaign which aims to improve the lives of young people in Scotland.

We want to hear from young people who have knowledge about bullying and ideas about how to build an effective campaign targeted at children and young people across Scotland.

Scottish Government Free Bus travel for Under 22s

All 5-21 year olds resident in Scotland are eligible from 31 January 2022 for Young Persons' Free Bus Travel, using a National Entitlement Card with the free bus travel product on it. Without this, you will be unable to travel for free on bus services in Scotland.

Info for parents and guardians

If you are a parent or guardian of a 5-15 year old then you must apply on their behalf. This will allow you to continue to exercise responsibility over their wellbeing and safety. Remember that free bus travel is available nationwide. This means your child can travel across Scotland, so please take care when making the decision about applying for them.

Where can Free Bus Travel be used?

Cardholders with the free bus travel product on it will be able to access free bus travel on registered bus services across Scotland including a very limited number of local cross-border services from the south of Scotland into northern England.
