Happy Fall Mustangs,

This is the Second Edition of our quarterly news magazine.

Let me begin by saying, I was overwhelmed by the response to our First Edition. Thank you Mustangs! You Rock!

We at the TMC are extending a very warm welcome to our newest Mustangs! You will love Richland just as much as we do!

All our new Mustangs who did not get a chance to look at our First Edition can access it here. I started this news magazine with the hope that this will be a way for our Mustang family to stay connected with each other. The TMC is intended to be a platform for all Mustangs to show their creativity, share their opinions, and celebrate their accomplishments. TMC belongs to all Mustangs! We are delighted to welcome Maura, Isabella, Kennedy, and Everly to the TMC team! If you want to join this dynamic team too, please let us know here!

In this edition, as in our last edition, we have featured some very talented writers and artists. We have the honor of celebrating some of our quiet heroes, the Office Staff who work tirelessly to keep us safe as we start the new school year. It was the Mustang way, of saying a big "Thank you" to all they have been doing for us! In this edition, we are also sharing some words of wisdom from Mrs. Bieraugel. You will also get to meet the Teacher of the Year and Staff Awardees and also our Music Teacher Extraordinaire Ms. Stone. We are celebrating with our teachers as they begin a new chapter in their lives! Congratulations Mrs. Sperling, Mrs. Montijo, Mrs. Pease, and Mrs. Cruz!! We are extending a very warm welcome to some New Teachers -Mrs. Pease, Ms. Jackson, Ms. Zeait, Ms. Dellmary, and Ms. Laura, our new Health Aide! Welcome to Richland! It's an Awesome-Pawsome school!!

The TMC Team also started a Special Feature Series to honor and celebrate diversity and our collective heritage in the U.S.A. This edition celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month! An Amazing Guest shared her family's story with us, for which we are so grateful! Curious? Find out more here! We are also honoring and saluting our Veterans in this edition through this feature. TMC also gives a big shout-out to our amazing FOR Club for everything they do for Richland! We also decided to talk to some of our Richland parents about their careers for a special feature called "When I Grow Up, I want to be." We appreciate their insight.

Finally, I am thankful to my Teacher Advisor, Mrs. Lu Flodine, our Principals, Mrs. Barbara and Mrs. Martinez, our fantastic photo editor/photographer Ms. Sasha Stone, super fab Mrs. Gaby Dellmary and especially all the students, teachers, staff, and parents at Richland, without their continued help and support, this magazine would not have come about.

I am hoping the new school year 2021-22 brings in new beginnings, happiness, and togetherness we all so deserve! We hope you have a wonderful school year ahead! We also wish you a wonderful Holiday Season with your friends and family! Be on the lookout for the new themes for the TMC! We have some really interesting guests in our upcoming editions!! Our next edition will be published on Feb' 22, after the Winter Break. We can't wait to see what you want to share with us!
