The station is deliberately noticed as uniDEd for other reasons Its name is Palmer ,hmm after listening I heard an ID as Enas (one ) or Ellinas and is located relatively close to Thessaloniki And is my only MW favorite with Greek music (mostly old )

Although this station goes closer to the norm of Greek pirates due to the music it plays , it has several exception that make it ‘special’

1.The station operates 24 hrs per day with play lists

2. A broader music range . It plays from ‘soft’ folk Greeks to ‘hard’ folk Greeks ie nearly the whole Greek music range I can say

3. It's ID jingle is played very rarely . In 3 hours of program it can be heard only once ! (this was for September and partially for earlier Oct 13 when the article was first written ... On the end of October the Id became little more frequent

Newer information from a fellow radio operator in MW , the station uses ca 1 kW - reduced power and its former name is Digital. But after finding that the station has a Facebook page , after contacting them revealed that they use a power of ca 300 W and transmit in the outer outlets of Thessaloniki

They have a web page http://www.ellinesradio.gr

and a facebook page

http://www.facebook.com/pages/ellinesradiogr/654353867923415

with email shown in their Facebook page several times

There are still several other radio stations using the 24 h format as R322 on 1287kHz (empty freq in Greece ) and 909 transmitting on 792kHz - former on 909 kHz(also empty after the closure of ERA Thessaloniki ) Both stations use good quality Greek music - mostly oldies
