Installation

Follow these steps for a frustration-free installation of WitPTracker AE.

1. Get the latest version of the distribution from the Releases page. Download this to any place on your computer.
2. Create a new folder and unzip the downloaded file into that folder. It should now look like this:

1. Make sure you have (virtually) any version of Java, as WitPTracker AE now works with Java 7 and Java 8. Instructions on installing Java 6 appropriately can be found here.
2. Make sure you have Microsoft Visual C++ SP1 update. This is needed for the program to function properly. Download it from here. You most probably want vcredist_x86.exe, so start with that one.
3. Now you're ready to set things up to run. Continue to the Set up section.
