The Group meets every Thursday morning from September to May in the Junior Hall of the URC, in the Town Centre and close to the 4, 4A, 5, 7, 16A, X23, 75, and 105 bus stops, and close to on-street and off-street parking.

We are a mixed bag of people from all over, with all sorts of backgrounds and experiences, all sorts of knowledge and opinions, so that we will bravely tackle just about any subject.

Turn this page to view the current programme and you will see that most weeks we have a proposition to discuss, or sometimes to debate, that we discuss the latest news at regular intervals, and that we have sessions when the imagination is encouraged to run free.

Whilst trying to find the truth in weighty matters, we never fail to find the lighter side of them and to dig out the serious side of humour.

The main aim is to have an enjoyable two hours.

There is always room for more, whether you a speaker or a listener.
