Stapleford emergency plan

Nearly all emergencies affecting communities will be dealt with routinely by an integrated multi-agency response (i.e. police, fire, ambulance, etc). However, a situation could occur (such as flooding, storm damage, deep snow, power outage or major incident), which could delay the arrival of outside assistance. Our community may need to help itself.

Here in Stapleford the Parish Council is reviewing their Emergency Plan and updating information on their Emergency Response Team who will co-ordinate a community emergency response.

Initially there are two ways you can help:

- complete the self help form, this allows you to plan how your family might respond in an emergency, especially if phone networks are busy

- offer to help by completing and returning the skills and assets form

(If you have offered help in the past please contact us as we need to confirm that, in the light of new data protection regulations, you are happy for your details to be held for emergency planning purposes)

If you require any further information please contact the assistant parish clerk (staplefordpavilionbookings@gmail.com) or the parish clerk or any parish councillor.

The full Emergency Plan will be available once updated and approved by SCDC.
