The Annual Flower & Vegetable Show 2022

Following the extreme weather conditions, we have experienced this year, there were real concerns about our annual Flower and Vegetable Show. What produce would be available to display, indeed would there be anything at all?

But, once again our Allotmenteers came up trumps. The displays of both produce and crafts were excellent, the judges expressed surprise at what we had been able to achieve considering the difficult year it has been.

Visitor numbers were good with lots of positive comments and, as always, the auction at the end of the show was good fun.

Congratulations to all the prize winners and thank you to everyone involved in making our show a success.

Best Plot 2022 Winners

Well done to Dave Starling of Medway Road and Mandy & Donald Love of Nursery Close for winning the best plot awards this year.   They get a lovely plaque to keep and £20 to spend in our shops.  A very special thanks to Pat Craig of Havills Funeral Service https://havills.org.uk/ for kindly sponsoring this competition and the beautiful plaques given to the winners.
