Sun, 26 Sept 2021 - Medway Road hosted a BBQ which all plotholders from both sites were welcome to attend. Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen, especially our two chefs!! I've heard wonderful feedback on the pumpkin pie too!!!

Best plot award was also presented to Gill Forbes on behalf of herself and Julia Upward, well done ladies.

Wed , 22 Sept 2021 - Marie Finnigan, Claire French, Janice Waghorn represented the Society at Seashells Children and Families Centre, as part of Big Green Week. They spoke to lots of people about growing your own and allotmenteering. Lots of seeds and pots were given away to get people, especially children started on their journey. Once again your support was amazing and we had a huge amount of fruit and vegetables to donate to users of the Centre, so from all the Committee thank you . A very special thanks to Dave & Mel Applegate, Dave Lipscombe and Stones Garden Centre https://stonesgardencentre.co.uk/ for supplying us with seeds, pots and compost.

We received a lovely thank you card from The Freedom Centre in Sheerness for our donation of fruit and vegetables.

A special thanks to all the plot holders of Richmond St/Nursery Close for donating this wonderful fruit and veg to The Freedom Centre, Sheerness
