Post date: Jun 05, 2016 1:13:29 PM

June calendars and exam schedules were distributed to all students on June 1. See the exam schedule and exam/year-end test guidelines below. Please direct any questions to the school at 902-875-4900.

Students are expected to be on time for exams/year-end tests; however, those who arrive late will be required to pass in the exam at the end of the examination period as extra time will not be allotted.

If you are not coming to write an exam/year-end test you are scheduled for, please call the school at 902-875-4900.

Students are required to write all exams/year-end tests on the scheduled day. If a student is absent for an exam, they must submit a valid medical excuse signed by a doctor to the office prior to the exam/year-end test make-up day (Thursday June 23 at 8:00am).

Grades 7-8: Morning year-end tests begin at 8:00am and afternoon year-end tests begin at 12:00 noon. Year-end tests are two hours in length. Students will remain in their assigned classrooms from 8:00am to 10:00am and 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Teacher supervision will be provided from 10:15am to 11:15am. Parents/guardians are responsible for finding transportation for their student if students wish to leave upon finishing a year-end test (if no scheduled year-end test in the afternoon). Please note that buses will only be running at regular times.

Grades 9-12: Morning exams begin at 8:00am and afternoon exams begin at 12:00 noon. Exams are usually two hours in length; however, there are a few that are longer. See the exam schedule. Students may leave after 9:00am or 1:00pm if they are finished. Once a student leaves an exam, they must exit the building or sit quietly in the Commons. Parents/guardians are responsible for finding transportation for their student if students wish to leave upon finishing a exam. Please note that buses will only be running at regular times.
