Activities

The main attribution of the Portuguese Cultural Center (CCP) is to promote Portuguese language and culture in Thailand. The Portuguese Cultural Center also aims to strengthen the relations with the universities where Portuguese language is integrated.Every year, courses of Portuguese language (Initial and Elementary levels) are held for the general public at the premisses of the CCP.As for the cultural area, the Cultural Center develops several regular activities:• Regular participation in visual arts, cinema and music festivals co-operating with local organizations.• Participation in events held by the Delegations of the EU to Thailand and to Cambodia.• Contribution to the activities organized by the EUNIC Cluster – Thailand.During 2011, Portugal and Thailand celebrated the 5th century of diplomatic relations between both countries.

The library has about 700 books mainly about literature, history and learning Portuguese. The resources center presents also Portuguese movies and music.
