AATG Spring Meeting & Workshop
Thema: Exploring German Chicago in your Classroom
Join us for our annual spring workshop and chapter meeting! This year's event is a teacher-share with the theme, "Exploring German Chicago." Colleagues from our chapter will share their expertise and ideas for incorporating German Chicago into our classes. The content will be useful for all levels of instruction.

Fortbildungsreihe “Rassismus und Rassismuskritik in Deutschland: Wege zur diskriminierungsfreien Gestaltung von Deutschunterricht”
There are many ways to critically address racism in the classroom. In this seminar series, German teachers will learn about the history and resistance to racism in the German context, analyze how racism is reproduced in educational materials, and try out different methods that can be used with high school and university students alike. Virtual seminars were held on March 6 & 26, April 15 and May 08, 2021.
