Note:

A hurricane blown bird, apparently an adult in wing molt, was preserved as a mount and was obtained from the estate of Walter Clayton for the Portland Society of Natural History, which collection was dismantled and dispersed during the 1970s, some specimens going to unknown locations. Current whereabouts unknown.
