Wollmut

Jan WOLLMUT (or VOLLMUT) was born in Hodovíz (or Hovzd), a village 30 km N of Plzen (Pilzen), Bohemia, in the mid 18th Century. His wife was Marie ŠŤÁHLAVSKÁ, born in Hořehledy, a small village near the town of Spálené Poříčí, 20 km SE of Plzen. Jan and Marie were my 4g-grandparents. They lived together in Hodovíz, and had at least one child, Katerina WOLLMUTOVA.

Note: jih means south, sever means north. I suppose that, e.g., sever 16 means house #16 on the north side of town.

Katerina married Vaclav CHALOUPKA (or CHALOUPEK), at her parents' house. Vaclav and Katerina lived in Kopidlo, near Hodovíz and had 14 children. Katerina must have died in her early 50s, and Vaclav, 7 years younger, remarried and had another child. More about them is on the CHALOUPEK page.
