Nora Krueger Posekany
Here's little Nora, looking all grown up already!
I think this is Nora and her younger brother, Edwin.

Milo William and Nora Willhelmina (Krueger) Posekany. They were married on 26 Dec 1925, in Cedar Rapids, IA. There was no wedding ceremony, but I think this portrait was taken at about the same time.
Milo and Nora had a farm in Benton County, Iowa, between Keystone and Van Horne. It may be the same farm that Nora's father, Albert Krueger, had worked. In 1929, they decided to quit farming. It may be that they lost a lot of money in the stock market crash of October, 1929. After the sale, they moved to Judd, ND, with their two children. Three more children were born in ND. They moved back to Iowa in 1936, where Milo worked on the farm owned by his uncle, Emil Stanek. The farm was in Benton county, north of Belle Plaine. Two more children were born in Iowa. At some point, Milo took over one of the Posekany farms near Chelsea, and farmed there until his death in 1961, due to stomach ulcers.

Nora taught this 8th grade class. I don't know if this was in Iowa or North Dakota.

Nora (Krueger) (Posekany) Ryan passed away in 1994.
