Good Evening Regimental Secretary,
I hope I have found the correct email address for you with the correct title?
The attached Death Notice appeared in the Daily Telegraph today and his son Mike spoke to your Regimental Shop as being the only contact he could make. They promised to pass on the sad news of his father's death in his 100th year.
I believe Hal's father was a Doctor in Bolton and Hal joined your Regiment pre WW2 and served throughout including time with RTR and 3rd King's Own Hussars with his Oldham bus driver as his Tank Driver for much of the time.
The family have also tried in vain so far to find a copy of the Regimental March even a copy of the sheet music for the Church Organist to play. Can you help?
