Personalities of The Duke of Lancaster's Own Yeomanry
Throughout the history of the regiment, there has been an interesting array of yeomen and women from Lancashire who have given their time in service. Alongside the volunteers, there has been a steady stream of regular officers and other ranks who have spent time commanding, training and administering the DLOY. There are also members of the Non Regular Permanent Staff (NRPS) - full-time employees serving in regimental and squadron headquarters' and providing a corps of continuity and stability with the regiment.
The following pages provide space for photographs and accounts of some of the many who have served in The Duke of Lancaster's Own Yeomanry. Initially, they appear in no specific order but in due course some structure may be applied to the site depending on the amount of material produced.
