Using SLideBoom.com (PPT Macros Support) - Slide boom.com is a free service designed to let you upload your power point presentations in an easy to use format for your students.Once you have uploaded the power points to slide boom you can embed them into your blackboard course. Your students will no longer need a power point viewer to access your slides.How you do this.Go to www.slideboom.com and create a username passwordYou will be sent an email to confirm your account. Once you confirm your account you will go to the navigation bar at the top of the webpage and click on upload.You will then be asked to upload your file by using the browse button (very similar to how you upload files to your email)Once the upload and processing are complete you will be given the opportunity to share your file via email, copy and past the url, or copy and paste the embed code (you can use this code for embedding in blackboard)Here is a link to show to embed multimedia material into blackboard--- this tutorial shows the embed using slide share, but this will work for using slideboom as well.
