5 - Perfect Tenses

The Perfect Tenses

In the previous Unit, we looked at Simple Tenses and Progressive Tenses.

We said that the Progressive Tenses and the Perfect Tenses are sometimes referred to as ‘Aspect’ (how we look at an action). However, we said that it is simpler to call them ‘Tenses’ to avoid confusion.

The Perfect Tenses show us another way of looking at actions.

Follow the steps below to complete this unit:

1.  Read an overview of 'Cognition'. Use one of the online dictionaries to look up any words you do not know.
