DECORATIVE HOUSE PLANTS – FLOWERING

AWARD OF MERIT – Must be in flower to exhibit. Pots may not exceed 10" in diameter.

Class 21. African Violets (Saintpaulia)--standard size

Class 22. Begonias (Begonia)

Class 23. Orchids

Class 24. Kalanchoes (Kalanchoe)

Class 25. Any other specimen worthy of exhibit

SECTION D – "PRETTY PARTNERS"

PLANTERS, DISH GARDENS, TERRARIUMS

GROWER'S CHOICE AWARD

Class 26. Dish gardens – miniature landscape in open container with 3 or more plants, accessories permitted.

Class 27. Planters – 3 or more different plants, no accessories permitted

Class 28. Terrariums – miniature landscape in transparent container, no cut plant material allowed, accessories permitted

SECTION E – "LEAFY GREENS"

GARDEN GROWN CUT FOLIAGE, ORNAMENTAL LEAVES, FRONDS,

AND HERBS

Class 29. Ferns – 3 fronds if small or medium, 1 frond if large

Class 30. Herbs – 1 stem

Class 31. Hosta (Hosta) – 1 leaf

a. Green and white leaf -- more than 6" in length

b. Other bi-color-small leaf -- more than 6" and less than 10" in length

c. Other bi-color-large leaf -- more than 10" in length

d. Green – small leaf -- more than 6" and less than 10" in length

e. Green – large leaf -- more than 10" in length

f. Blue – green leaf -- more than 6" in length
