DMX TEST and OUTPUT VIEW
Here , You can test in a quick way your channels at a predefined level.
Also, you can view levels for all output ports. Change between A,B,C or D to see other Outputs.
Select desired Output port.
Touch "+" button to start test on DMX Channel 1
Test always start at 80% in order to take care of the lamps, but can be changed during test.
Button "+" increases channel
Button "-" decreases channel
If you want to Jump to a determinate dmx channel, > Touch Ready > Write channel > Touch "..."
DMX Test acts directly on Programmer.
DMX IN
You can activate it Touch&holding the app-icon
When you do it, all actives Output ports are available to listen dmx signal too.
At the same time you will be able to send DMX signal, THIS IS THE MAJOR DIFFERENCE RESPECT OLD Node Mode.
This can be useful in environments where there are more than one Android devices with this app installed and all devices want to interact with the same node without affects the active channels.
The only condition that you must observe is that Just one of these devices can has DMX-IN activated (MASTER) and the other ones (SLAVES) must unicast to it (to MASTER).
For example:
1 Node (IP= 192.168.1.10)
2 Smartphones (1st with IP= 192.168.1.11 and 2on with IP=192.168.1.12)
Phone 1 is unicasting to 192.168.1.10 (node) and has DMX-IN activated (MASTER)
Phone 2 should unicast to 192.168.1.11 (SLAVE)
ALso you can activate "Channels >> Subs" on "Settings > Other" in order to control submasters of the MASTER device from other devices (This option only will works thru the first Universe , so senders must send channels at the same universe that Master has it's first Output. Of course, Submasters controlled with this option, CAN contain values related with other universes in the MASTER device)
PLAY / REC MODE
Here you can switch between Play or Rec Mode.
On Play mode:
Rec button will be disabled on PlayBack Buttons.
Rec button will be sitched to FLASH on Submasters.
And finally "Action to" & ">>" buttons will be disabled on Cuelists.
